The Institute of Environmental Science & Engineering (IESE) was created as a centre of research excellence in environmental technology (ET) and now structured as a leading-edge technology company that provides sustainable solutions to partners in Singapore’s ET industry. IESE’s research capability is built on 4 technology platforms: Clean Energy, Marine & Resource Recovery, Water & Membrane and Environmental Biotechnology. Our business activities include technology licensing/commercialisation, R&D, environmental process design/engineering, environmental specialist consultancy, process modeling/simulation, feasibility/treatability studies as well as technology-related conferences.
Due to our expansion, we invite applications for the following position:
Business Development Executive
Responsibilities:
- Plan and evaluate business opportunities and lead in the business development
- Experience with portfolio management and project management required
- Familiarity with legal and patent documents in a R&D setting
- Initiate promotional and marketing activities
- Prepare growth forecast and budget.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelors degree (Environmental/Chemistry) with 2nd Upper Class Honours or MBA
- Minimum 3 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in the environmental industry
- Commercially astute and customer focused
- Proven track record in building business relationships
- Good interpersonal skills, and fluent in English (written/oral)
