Project Architect
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design management of building projects, assisted by Design Team, interns and other staff
- Oversee the Architectural aspects of the development of the design, production of the construction documents, specifications and schedules
- Involves coordinating the needs of client, designers and outside consultants to achieve the design intent
- Other responsibilities include ensuring design intent is in compliance with statutory and regulatory fire, building & planning codes of the local jurisdiction, supplied by others.
- Create & produce the master schedule of documentation required in order to issue the bidding documents for tender & to suppliers/contractors
- Create and manage the Installation schedule during project installation period
- Conduct Bid Analysis for Built work & FFE quotations & make recommendations
- To manage the entire design documentation and Project ID selections
- Lead team on Design Documentation, Specifications and Detailing
- Attendance onsite to ensure quality assurance of built works against documentation
- Support Principal
Requirements:
- Passion for design
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture essential
- Minimum 8-10 years in Interior design/architecture/building industry
- Demonstrated Project Management experience
- Experience in significant mix-use developments both locally & internationally is required
- Good written & spoken English essential and Chinese language (Mandarin and spoken Chinese dialects) preferred
- Able to demonstrate skilled proficiency in various Design software such as Autocad
