INTERIOR DESIGN ASSISTANTS – Autocad specialization
Responsibilities:
- Documentation of plans, elevations, sections, details for built works and FFE loose furniture on Autocad
- Systemise autocad drawing templates for all documentation issued to Clients & Suppliers
- Central point of contact to ensure latest revision of CAD drawings supplied & maintained to Design Team
- Provide autocad drawings from FFE product workshop drawings – detailing for supplier to manufacture
- Researching Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E) and materials and finishes
- Compiling sample boards and documenting product specifications
- Support Senior Interior Designer with on-site inspections & client relation meeting preparation
Requirements:
- Enrolled in a Degree/Diploma programme in Interior Design or Architecture in a recognized tertiary education institution
- Ability to sketch freehand illustrations & formal perspectives is required
- Good communication skills in English essential (both written and spoken)
- Written & spoken Asian language/s preferred (Mandarin and Chinese dialects an advantage) in addition to good communication skills in both written and spoken English essential
- Web design skills are highly regarded
- Interest in Photography and Fine Arts an advantage
- Technical proficiency in WORD, Excel, Power-point, 3D Studio Max & Adobe Photoshop essential
- Must possess excellent AUTOCAD skills – previous experience as CAD Operator highly regarded

Draftsman Position
I am interested in applying for the above position advertised. Now I’m in Singapore, I believe that I have the necessary qualifications for the post.
I have worked at WATERWORKS ENGINEERING GROUP SERVICES CO., LTD since Feb 2007. As you can see from my resume, I worked at WATERWORKS ENGINEERING GROUP SERVICES CO., LTD as draftsman till Mar 2008. It is one of the well known CO., LTD in Myanmar.
In addition to this practical experience, I was completed requirements for my B.E.H.S. in 2004. I am attending my second year computer science course in the University of Computer Studies, Yangon.
I have been attending AutoCAD at the PRO Computer Centre. I am now looking for a position in which I can use my AutoCAD skills.
