Wintel GPO / Desktop PKI & AD GIMS Senior System Administrator / Specialist
Pre-requisite:
- Ability to lead and coordinate, implement and support of specialized infrastructure system solutions in an Enterprise Environment (Large environment) on the managing of server Group Policy Objects (GPO), desktop security PKI, and knowledge of Active Directory (AD) for GIMS
- Substantial experience, typically 5 to 8 years in Information Technology with 2 to 3 years experience in a senior administrator role managing server Group Policy Objects (GPO), desktop security PKI, and knowledge of Active Directory (AD) for GIMS
- Certifications in MCSE, MCP, MCSA, etc.
- MCSE with 5-6 years solid experience on Active Directory & OU Admin with Regional/Global support preferred.
- Sound knowledge GPO and GPO software deployment.
- Strong Enterprise level experience in Administration and Implementation of NT/Windows 2000/2003.
- Knowledge of SMS (Systems Management Server) and solid understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and have demonstrated experience in TCP/IP Name Resolution problem solving.
- 2 years experience in an Exchange 2003 Enterprise and at least 1+ year hands on experience with Exchange 2003 servers. Must know how to Track Message flow through an Exchange environment and read SMTP Headers to trace email problems. All at Level 3 or Level 2 support experience.
- Background in Administrating Systems Operations in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment including hands on experience in Backup and Restore procedures.
- Ability to coach, counsel and mentor others.
- Ability to interact with customers regarding organizational strategic direction, technology context and distributed computing and communications needs.
- Ability to lead implementations, upgrades and conversion projects.
- Ability to participate on special market studies or marketing efforts.
- Ability to participate on empowered, virtual teams.
- Ability to manage projects within scope of responsibility.
- Acts as a project leader in planning, directing, and coordinating monitoring activities. Additional duties may include benchmarking, capacity planning, performance measurement, analysis, and troubleshooting.
