Mechanical Engineer
Department: Maintenance
Designation: Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to: Technical Services Manager (Mechanical)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effective planning and performing of preventive and breakdown maintenance for the machinery.
- Guide the Maintenance Team and providing solutions on Technical issues.
- Maintaining Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Maintain machine output specifications as specified to meet production targets.
- Identify and implement essential requirement to minimize the downtime or improve the efficiency of machines.
- Review maintenance plans and checklist regularly and when necessary.
- Help in evaluation of machinery and equipment purchases.
- Oversee in projects / maintenance works and liaise with contractors to ensure works are carried out smoothly.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to the statutory requirements of concerned authorities , e.g. Workplace Health and Safety Act.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior(s).
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering field or its equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years (Degree holder) or 6 years (Diploma holder) of relevant working experience in production line, especially in the Food manufacturing industries.
- Have hands-on experience in setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting production machines / equipment.
- Experience in computerized maintenance management system and AutoCAD will be considered favorably.
Remuneration:
- Monthly Salary is negotiable (depends on relevant working and driving experience)
- Transport Allowance $70 - $110 (depends on residential area)

- Working Hours: 8:30am to 6:00pm, Mondays to Fridays
