Finance Specialist & Accountant
FINANCE SPECIALIST (SGDC)
Purpose
- The Finance Specialist will assist in the SAP Implementation process before or during the interim of migration, in the Singapore Development Centre.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Validate the completeness and accuracy of payments by ensuring that all supporting documents are in order.
- Responsible for monthly revenue collection and reporting, debt monitoring and follow-up actions.
- Data support for preparation of monthly reports.
- Work closely with Country Finance Manager to ensure prompt delivery of monthly results.
- Assist in the functionalities of SAP (GL, AP & AR) during the migration.
SAP:
- Provide post implementation and day-to-day support, resolve production issues and prepare/maintain system document.
- SAP experience in AP, AR, GL and modules integration.
- Strong in business processes (SAP configuration).
- Have relevant full cycle of SAP project implementation (preferably IT environment).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Singapore.
- Diploma in Accountancy / ACCA certified.
- Enthusiastic, independent, meticulous and resourceful with a ‘can-do’ spirit.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-pace environment.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
GL ACCOUNTANT (SSC)
Purpose:
- The GL Accountant will assist in General Ledger operations in the Shared Services Centre.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General Ledger
- Preparation of the month-end close timetable
- Preparation of journal entries to Navision: -
- Depreciation
- Accruals – Leave
- Accruals – Bonus
- Accruals – Contractors Cost
- Accruals – Option Expense
- Accruals – Interest Expense
- Accruals – AVU Expense
- Recurring Accruals – MSFT
- Recurring Accruals – Operating Expenses
- Fixed assets reconciliation for all APAC countries
- Preparation of Interco Foreign Exchange rates table to be updated into Navision and disseminate to respective CFMs on a monthly basis.
- Verification of petty cash.
- Payroll
- Preparation of journal entries
- Payroll verification for APAC countries (Pending to be transferred).
- Collating & verification of CSV files from APAC countries to be upload to Navision (Pending to be transferred).
- Bank Reconciliation
- Preparation of Bank reconciliation statements for APAC countries
- Reporting and reconciliation
- Updating of accruals schedule for APAC countries.
- With SAP experience
