Material Cost Analyst
You will review and analyse material cost competitiveness of key commodities; and provide cost benefit analysis of acquired or bidding products. You will also support and provide the commodity Management Team on cost analysis report for further cost competitiveness enhancement. You are expected to perform day-to-day management of assigned tasks on improving the cost of acquisition; as well as support customer cost reduction exercise, define target cost, identify commodity with major cost reduction opportunities together with the Commodity team. Understanding customers cost expectations as well as working towards the objectives together with the Commodity and Business Unit team are other aspects of your role.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent with at least 3 years relevant experience
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills will be advantage
- Knowledge of active and/ or mechanical component parts is a must.
