Purchasing Officer
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all direct/indirect material & packaging material purchases to meet the pricing & delivery requirement
- Implement effective supply chain practices, inventory management with demand variability,cost reduction and lead time reduction
- Handling daily purchasing and warehousing operation to ensure that customer delivery schedules are met so as to provide customer satisfaction
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Purchasing/Logistics/Materials Management/Procurement or International Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Min 2 yrs exp in procurement and SCM in the manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in implementing Supply Chain Management practices, raw material inventory control, distribution management, e-business and procurement preferred
- Exp in using ERP software (Movex) and strategic pricing negotiation will be an added advantage
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Multi-tasker with the ability to cope with stress in fast paced environment
